When studying dynamic phenomena in cells and living tissues via fluorescence microscopy, much of the most important data at the cellular level changes in seconds or less. The only way to capture these events accurately is for two or more channels to be imaged simultaneously to track changes in fluorescence signal. Simultaneous multichannel imaging is essential to achieve quantitative ratiometric imaging. Each multichannel imaging system from MAG Biosystems is designed to project multiple images onto your preferred detector(s) at exactly the same time. These systems not only alleviate problems associated with temporal resolution, they also remove electromechanical positioning of the filter optics as a rate-determining factor. Investigators can finally take full advantage of newer, low-light, high-speed CCD and EMCCD cameras.
